Francis Philip "Phil" Hritzak

ALEXANDER – Francis Philip Hritzak (Phil/Papa Philly), born on November 24, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 58 in Asheville, North Carolina. 

 Phil was an incredibly hardworking man with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. It was no secret that Phil was highly intelligent. He amazed the kids with his witty responses and fast answering math skills. 

 Phil had a smile that was contagious and a laugh that could warm any soul. He will be remembered for his dedication to those he loved. Phil was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, especially the kids; he was there for them without hesitation. Phil’s heart was big and his love was pure. His favorite person in the whole world was his granddaughter, Faith Lynn. The second they were together it was endless laughs and jokes. The two of them could light up a room. Phil and Faith Lynn share so many wonderful memories that Faith Lynn will cherish and hold in her heart forever. He was her Papa Philly and the love they shared truly goes beyond measure.

 In addition to his devotion to his family, Phil had a passion for sports. He had a tremendous love for University of Michigan football and the Detroit Lions. 

Phil was also an animal lover. Over the years he rescued many dogs and raised many of their puppies; making them a part of his family and loving each one of them fiercely.

Phil will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind his family; Cherise Hritzak, Michael Suppa, Haily Suppa, Leif Menzie, Faith Lynn Prisciantelli, Elaine Cross and his sweet dogs; Sandra Dee, Rosie Queen, Buster, Sadie Mae, and Nanobyte. 

 During this difficult time, let us remember Phil for his unwavering love, dedication, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. May his memories bring comfort and solace to his family and friends as they navigate through the days ahead.
