Gladys \ Perkins

ASHEVILLE—Gladys "Polly" Perkins, age 91, of Asheville, died Monday, May 27, 2013. Mrs. Perkins was born January 6, 1922, in Orchard, CO and was a resident of Buncombe County for the past 25 years. She retired from Asheville City Schools system. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Pearl Brooks Knox and husband, Gordon D. Perkins who died in 2008. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Bands; granddaughter, Susan Brixius; great grandchildren, Sofia and Jack Brixius all of New York; son, David Perkins and wife Linda; granddaughter, Kelsey Perkins all of Colorado.
