Glenn Max Frisbee

BARNARDSVILLE – Glenn Max Frisbee, age 92, of Barnardsville, passed away on November 28, 2023.

Glenn was born on November 24, 1931, in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Frank Frisbee and Agnes Teague Frisbee. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Wilda Ballew Frisbee, who died in 2016; sons, Brandon Frisbee, Max Frisbee, and Morris Frisbee.

Glenn retired from Westall Chandley Lumber Company.

He is survived by daughters, Lillian “Cissi” Cox and her husband, Danny, of Barnardsville, and Leisa Frisbee of Asheville; sons Melvin Frisbee and his wife, Wendy, of Leicester, and Brian Frisbee of Asheville; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.

Glenn’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 73 Piney Grove Road, Marshall, North Carolina, with Reverend Garry Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
