GLENNA DAVIS WORLEY WEAVERVILLE - Glenna Davis Worley, age 90 of Weaverville died Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Mrs. Worley was born June 27, 1925 in Madison County, and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1981. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She was a member of Light of Life Baptist Church. A daughter of the late Wiley and Tilda Roberts Davis and wife of the late Glamer Carlton Worley. Also preceding Mrs. Worley in death are a son, Hubert Worley, and daughter-in-law, Marie along with eight siblings and their spouses. Surviving are her sons, Everette Worley and wife Janet, B.W. Worley and wife Sarah all of Weaverville, and Dean Worley and wife Nancy of Marshall; eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015, in Light of Life Baptist Church, 2994 Riverside Dr., Woodfin, with Reverends Mark Crowder and Bill Brown officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
