Gloria Gertrude Kerr Brough

Gloria Gertrude Kerr Brough, age 100, of Asheville gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at River Bend Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Brough was born May 6, 1924, in Bridgeport, CT and lived many places for her husband’s career in the Air Force, including spending time in Germany. They settled in Spring Hill, Florida where they lived for 30 years. She loved her chihuahuas and her grandchildren. Her house was always open to her family, and everyone could count on her. All her grandkids and great grandkids learned to swim in her pool.

In addition to her parents, Alexander Kerr and Josephine Jacobs Kerr, she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Brough who died in 2002; daughter, Janet Hall; son, Robert Joseph Brough; sister, Cecilia Tomasulo, and great grandson, Noah.

Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Kerrie Miller and husband Mike, Robert Hall and wife Darcy, Michael Brough, Jody Jones and husband James, and Heather Greer and husband Anthony; daughter-in-law, Kay Brough; great grandchildren, Austin, Anthony (Cheyenne), Skyler, Mikey, Wren, Ricky, and Bheanne; and great-great grandchildren, Tyson and Harrison.
