Gordon Arthur Lunsford

WEAVERVILLE—Gordon Arthur Lunsford, age 59, of Weaverville, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Mr. Lunsford was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Caroll Lunsford and his brother Kenneth. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Grace Dover Lunsford; sons, Gordie Lunsford and wife April, and Josh Lunsford and wife Kelly; mother, Eva Mundy Worley and her husband Cleates; sister, Carolyn Drake; brother, Randall Lunsford; and seven grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013, at New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Garry Rogers and Rev. Danny Little officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
