GREYSON LEE MURRAY
Greyson Lee Murray, age 20, of Weaverville died Sunday, April 13, 2014.
Greyson was a 2012 graduate of North Buncombe High School and was currently enrolled at AB Tech studying machining. He greatly enjoyed the water and was a certified lifeguard and Scuba Diver, as well as, a gifted underwater photographer. In his youth he enjoyed baseball, soccer, and the Boy Scouts. He loved animals, especially his loving puppy and faithful companion Reckless. Greyson was a uniquely talented pen and ink artist with aspirations of becoming a tattoo artist. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Richard I. Holdredge and uncle, Mark Holdredge.
He's survived by his parents, Melissa Holdredge Murray of Weaverville and Raymond D. Murray of Lillington N.C.; brothers, Hunter and Andrew Murray; aunts and uncles, David and Theola Holdredge and family, Paul and Sherri Holdrege, and Deborah and Rick Morton and family, his grandmother Bernice Surles of Lillington, NC; great aunt Eleanor Sandgren of Groton C.T.; several beloved cousins and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. to celebrate and honor Greyson's life Thursday April 17, 2014 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
