Harold Ray \ Capps

WOODFIN—Harold Ray "Moe" Capps, age 74, of North Rd., died Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Mr. Capps was born July 19, 1938, in Buncombe County. He was a weaver with the Grovewood Galleries for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Davis and Amanda Hattie Hamlin Capps, his wife, Iliond Dillingham Capps who died in 2011, and five brothers. Surviving are his daughter, Vickie Revis and husband Phillip of Alexander; son Steven Capps of Woodfin; grandchildren, Jennifer Revis, Wesley Revis and wife Nicole, Paige Revis; and great granddaughter, Karli Cutshall. His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Bill Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
