ALEXANDER—Harry Kemp, age 59 of 52 Mountain Tea Lane died Friday, March 19, 2010.
Harry was born July 11, 1950 in Bangkok, Thailand and was a resident of Asheville since he was 21. He was a dedicated radiological tech at Mission Hospital for 17 years. He loved working in and with wood and special projects with his children. Harry was a member of Newbridge Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Bazil and Sunee Chengtrakul Kemp.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, LaVada Biggs Kemp; sons, Zachary Kemp and wife Lindsey of Waynesville, Gregory Kemp of Asheville and Phillip Kemp and wife Amanda of Jonesborough, Tenn.; two grandchildren on the way; sister, Margaret Kemp of Thailand and brother, George Kemp also of Thailand.
Harry's memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 22nd in Newbridge Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Henderson officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.
