Helen Cox Sexton

ALEXANDER - Helen Cox Sexton, age 95, formerly of Snelson Road, died Saturday, December 29, 2012, in Florida where she had resided the past three years with her son. Mrs. Sexton was born August 28, 1917, in Buncombe Co., NC, where she lived most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Horace V. and Laura Savannah Ray Cox. She was the wife of the late Minuard Paul Sexton who died in 2008, also preceded in death by a son, Paul Wayne Sexton. Surviving are her son, Robert A. Sexton and his wife Patsy, daughter-in-law, Jeanette Sexton, of Alexander. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with the Pastor Ken Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville. The family will receive friends from 6:00—8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
