WOODFIN—Henry Broadus \"HB\" Bradley, Jr., of Emerald Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center died Monday, June 15, 2009.
Mr. Bradley was born March 26, 1918, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He was the owner of several area restaurants most recently HB's Drive In. Mr. Bradley was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Vance Masonic Lodge No. 293, A.F. & A.M. He was a son of the late Henry Broadus Bradley, Sr., and Bonnie Mae Fisher Bradley.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Leartis McGee Bradley; son, Larry Bradley and his wife Vicki of Weaverville; brother, Claude Bradley of Sarasota, FL; grandsons, Travis, Cameron and Graham Bradley.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Friday, June 19th, at Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery, 962 Old US Hwy 70 West, Black Mountain with the Rev. Clark Henderson officiating.
Mr. Bradley will be available for viewing from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
