WEAVERVILLE– Herman “Pinky” Revis, age 74, of Weaverville, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Mr. Revis was born March 15, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Jack and Mary Bain Revis. He retired from Metropolitan Sewage District. Herman loved his family and spending time with all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Tracy Revis.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Judy Penland Revis; daughter, Tammy Revis; son, Eddie Revis; sisters, Betty Ann Revis and Helen Proctor; grandchildren, Matt, Rena, Justine, Brittany, Beth, Amanda, Edwin, Chris, Jack and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Jacob, Waylon, Lacie, Sawyer, Braden, Brianna, Lexi, Abby, Cameron, Kashawn, Tyzire, Kevaya and Kiana; special great niece and nephew, Phoenix and Paris.
His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverends Larry Rogers and Michael Penland will officiate. Burial will follow in Clark’s Chapel Cemetery, Weaverville.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday, April 20, 2018 at the funeral home.
