Howard Baxter Honeycutt, age 81 of 32 Rice Cove Road died Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Howard was born October 22, 1933 in Madison County to the late Bascombe and Carrie Crain Honeycutt. He was a resident of Buncombe County since 1952 and was a self-employed roofer and sheet metal worker since 1952. Howard was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughters, Cecelia Honeycutt and Debra Jane Gaddy and a sister, Faye Arrington. Surviving are his wife, Amanda Buckner Honeycutt; daughters, Donna Edmonds and husband Alan and Anne Heath; sons, Cecil Honeycutt, Steve Honeycutt and wife Rhonda and Stanley Honeycutt and wife Angel; son-in-law, Jerry Lee Gaddy; sisters, Frances Ponder and husband Harlon and Helen DeBruhl; step-daughters, Diane Harvey and husband Bill, Tami Burrell and Kathy Collins and husband Randy; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville with Rev. Mark Crowder officiating. At other times the family will be at the home of Stanley Honeycutt, 174 Ox Creek Road, Weaverville. For those who desire, condolences may be offered to the family under Howard's obituary at www.WestFamilyFuneralServices.com. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville with Rev. Mark Crowder officiating. At other times the family will be at the home of Stanley Honeycutt, 174 Ox Creek Road, Weaverville.
