Imogene Presswood Aly

WEAVERVILLE—Imogene Presswood Aly, age 82, of 81 Old Mars Hill Hwy., died Thursday, March 8, 2012. Mrs. Aly was born May 5, 1929, in Etowah, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Horace and Cora Cross Presswood; husband, James Ray Aly who died in 2009; and brother, Hobart Presswood. She was of the Christian Faith and loved to work in her flowers and gardening. Surviving are daughter, Pam Harris and husband David of Leicester; sons, Roger Aly and wife Debbie of Weaverville and Charles Aly and wife Becky of Jackson, Ga.; sister, Margaret Sharits of Hudson, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Jerry Kent officiating. West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, is in charge of arrangements.
