Jack G. Brigmon

WEAVERVILLE– Jack G. Brigmon, age 43, of Weaverville, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack was born May 10, 1975 in Buncombe County where he lived most of his life. He was a 1993 graduate of North Buncombe High School. Jack was a journeyman and electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Diane Buckner Brigmon. Surviving are his wife, Angela Kuykendall Brigmon; daughters, Clare Brigmon and Kathrine Burford; son, Alex Burford; grandmother, Jenny Holcombe Brigmon and a sister, Kimberly White. His memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverend Bryan Shetley will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
