WEAVERVILLE—Jackie McGuinn, age 63, of Weaverville died Saturday, November 24, 2012. Surviving are his wife, Dottie McGuinn; daughter, Doris McGuinn of Henderson; stepdaughter, Angela and her spouse Bertrand Pollono, two step-grandsons, all of Annecy, France; and brother Buford McGuinn of Weaverville. His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Steve Rhinehart officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the funeral at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Sandy and E.J. Baker, 4 Kitty Lane, Weaverville.
