Jackie Owensby

ASHEVILLE—Jacqueline Lee Owensby, age 55, of Asheville, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Jackie was born April 22, 1954, in Buncombe County. She was a daughter of the late Richard Lee and Lela Evelyn Houck Boone and was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Parham. Surviving are her sons, Jimmy Worley of Pensacola, FL, and Jonathan Worley of Virginia; sisters, Rebecca Burgin of Asheville and Connie Kay Swafford of Candler; brother, Michael Emory Boone of South Carolina; and grandsons, Scott Worley and Jason Worley. There will be a gathering of friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 30th, at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with a sharing of memories at 3:00 PM.
