Jacqueline "Jackie" Crace Quesenberry

Jacqueline “Jackie” Yvonne Crace Quesenberry, born November 30, 1931, went to be with our Lord on August 8, 2024. She passed peacefully at Madison Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Asheland, KY to the late Ray Cordell Crace and Virginia Lewis Crace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Howard Quesenberry; sisters, Delores “Lori” Davis and Wilma Wright and brother, James “Jimmy” Crace.

Jackie was a faithful member of GracePoint, formerly Woodland Hills Church, in Asheville from the time she joined in the 1980’s. She loved her church family and always loved to volunteer and attend classes when she could. She spoke of her church family often.

She is survived by her brothers, Raymond (Martha) Crace and John (Brenda) Kirby; her children, Sheila (Jerry) Michael, Jeff (Susan) Quesenberry, Pam (Tony Purvis) George, Kris (Roger) Young, Richard (Debbie) Davis, Betty (Alan) Andrade and Glenna Hamburg; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

The family extends their thanks and eternal gratitude to all that cared for Jackie during her stay at Madison Health and Rehabilitation in Mars Hill.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2024, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Reverends Bob Belford and Rodney Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in West Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. on Sunday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
