Jane Revis Ramsey

WEAVERVILLE– Jane Revis Ramsey, age 70, of Weaverville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Jane was born May 24, 1947 in Buncombe County to the late Robert Leroy and Sadie Cumi Marler Revis. She was a dedicated former employee with Vanderbilt Shirt Co., and Corie-Lou Mfg. Jane attended Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Revis and nephew, Sammy Revis, Jr. Surviving are her husband, Buddy Ramsey; daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Dailey; sons, Morris Ramsey and wife Diana and Jason Ramsey and wife Lori; sisters, Minnie Griffin and husband George; Robbie White and husband Ronnie and Valerie Silver Miller and husband Bill; brothers, Michael Revis and Jimmy Ward and wife Lucille; grandchildren, Logan Dailey, Gabriel Ramsey, Tyler Ramsey, Ian Dailey, Zachary Ramsey, Luke Ramsey and Grayson Ramsey. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the Chapel of Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Burial will be in Refuge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the church on Saturday. At other times the family will be at the home of her daughter, Cindy, 284 Snelson Road, Alexander, NC 28701. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated. West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Jane loved her family, they were her greatest treasure. We love you Mama and will see you soon.
