JANET E. WAYCASTER WEAVERVILLE - Janet E. Greenlee Waycaster, age 77, of 72 Alexander Road, died Friday, November 21, 2014. Mrs. Waycaster was born July 29, 1937, in Buchanan County, MO and was a resident of Weaverville since 1968. She was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Edna Flaten Greenlee. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, B.M. "Mickey" Waycaster, Jr.; daughters, Tzena Waycaster Keyes of Asheville, and Mary Aleta Waycaster of the home; sons, James M. Waycaster and wife Kaye of Cincinnati, OH, and Johnny D. Waycaster of Willow Springs, NC; sisters, Stella Erikson of Hibbing, MN, and Gloria Bardeen of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Heather Rogers of Anchorage, AK, and Lauren Keyes of Holly Springs; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Stan Welch officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
