Janice Susan Haynes Kelley

WOODFIN – Janice Susan Haynes Kelley, age 65, of Woodfin passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

Janice was born on January 4, 1959, in Buncombe County, where she lived all her life. She was born to the late John Walter Haynes, Jr. and Marjorie Hensley Haynes. She was a member of Pine Burr Park Baptist Church. Janice is predeceased by her beloved husband, David Wesley “Wes” Kelley, who died in 2007. She is also preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Haynes and sister-in-law, Carol.

Janice is survived by daughter, Mandy Garrison and husband, Doug; son, Shannon Kelley and his partner, Ashley; sister, Debbie Bach and husband, Bill; brother, Kenneth Haynes and wife, Sarah; father-in-law, Ray Marlowe; 4 grandchildren, Emilie English and husband, Cody, Braxton Garrison, Kyson, and Alek Kelley; companion, Jack Holcombe; special friend, Bobby Ruff; and several nieces and nephews.

Janice’s memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12 at Pine Burr Park Baptist Church. Rev. Allen Roberts will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pine Burr Park Baptist Church, 389 Weaverville Road, Asheville NC 28804.
