JANICE HUNTER MOORE ASHEVILLE – Janice Hunter Moore, age 63, of Asheville, after an extended illness went to her Heavenly home, Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Ms. Moore was born March 31, 1953 in Buncombe County to Alice Mae Pike Hunter and the late Carroll Vinson Hunter. Surviving in addition to her mother; are her daughter, Susan Moore Herron and husband Chris of Waynesville; sisters, Sherry Painter and husband Ron of Navarre, FL, Mikki Lewis and husband Steve of Weaverville; brothers, Ray Hunter and wife Nancy of Asheville, Terry Hunter and wife Dana of Arden, and Kevin Hunter also of Asheville; grandchildren, Dalton and Dakota Haney, and Destiny Herron. Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2016, near the waterfall in West Memorial Park, Weaverville, with Reverend Kelvin Mosely officiating.
