Jayne Gibbs Moore

WEAVERVILLE– Jayne Gibbs Moore, age 82, of Weaverville, died Sunday, February 11, 2018. Mrs. Moore was born August 6, 1935 in Buncombe County to the late Rudolph and Ada English Gibbs. Jayne attended Central United Methodist Church for a number of years. She retired from Mission Hospital after 20 years. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Bob Moore, who died in 2007 and her brother, Rayford Gibbs. Surviving are her daughter, Kada Cross of Weaverville; sons, Tony Martinez of Barnardsville, and Rudy Martinez and wife Caroline of Austin, TX; sisters, Rudena Ligon and husband Dell, and Martha Jones and husband Bruce; grandchildren, Raleigh and Merritt Cross, and Grant and Gavin Martinez. Her graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Lewis Memorial Park, 415 Beaverdam Rd, Asheville, NC 28804. Rev. Joe Dillon will officiate.
