Jean Ramsey McFee Kiser

ASHEVILLE—Jean Ramsey McFee Kiser, Age 84, formerly of Green Oak Road died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Brian Center, Weaverville. Jean was born September 29, 1924 in Buncombe County where she lived all of her life. She was a former member of First Christian Church of Asheville. Most recently she was a member of Avery's Creek Christian Church. She retired from Square D Company in 1988 after 12 years of service. She was a daughter of the late Atlas Lee Ramsey and Wilena Ramsey Jarvis. Surviving are her sons, Malcolm R. McFee, David F. McFee and daughter-in-law JoNeil McFee all of Asheville; step-sister, Carolyn Hyder and husband Paul; brother; William F. Ramsey and sister-in-law Juanita Ramsey of Old Fort; step-brother, William A. Jarvis of Asheville; three grandsons, Kevin, Kris and Greg McFee and wife Lorie; granddaughter, Amanda Queen and husband Todd; two great granddaughters, Annabelle and Lilly McFee. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in the chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Pastor Ken Woody will officiate. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
