JIMMY LARGE ASHEVILLE - Jimmy Large, age 73 of Sycamore Street died Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Mr. Large was born January 2, 1942 in Buncombe County. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he retired after 38 years from Mission Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Vernon and Ruby Williams Large; and brother, Sammy Large. Surviving are his brother, Mike Large and wife Linda; two nieces; and two great nephews. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Beaverdam Baptist Church, Asheville, with Reverend Daniel Reese officiating.
