Jo Ann Feather

WEAVERVILLE—Jo Ann Thomas Feather, age 74, of 11 Worthington Lane, died Sunday, September 21, 2008. Mrs. Feather was born July 20, 1934 in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1990. She was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mae Clark Thomas. Jo Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Eugene Feather. Surviving are her daughters, Karen F. Dobrow and husband Paul of Orlando, Fla. and Janet F. Hollar and husband Stephen of Asheville; sister, Jean Metz of Maryland; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with the Rev. Ebb Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
