ASHEVILLE—JoAnn McJunkin, age 54, of Starnes Cove Rd., Asheville, died Thursday, June 25, 2009. JoAnn was born February 24, 1955 in Buncombe County where she had lived most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ed Pace. Surviving are her husband, Jack McJunkin, II; daughters, Autumn Brianna McJunkin and Amanda Kay McJunkin; sons, Jack Terry McJunkin, III and Kenneth West; mother, Jean Hamlin and brother, Douglas Hamlin. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with the Rev. Dennis Thurman and Jo Ann's cousin, Pat Leggett officiating. Burial will be in Elk Mountain Cemetery, Woodfin. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. www.WestFamilyFuneralServices.com
