JOHNNIE LEATHA JANE HENDERSON ANDERS ASHEVILLE - Johnnie Leatha Jane Henderson Anders, age 93 of Pinecroft Road, died Tuesday December 3, 2013. Mrs. Anders was born June 16, 1920. She was the daughter of the late George S. Henderson and Athaliah Osteen Ingle Henderson. Johnnie was married to the late William Jefferson Anders who died Jan. 1, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Harry Myron Henderson and Gerald Pritchard Henderson; sister, Dorotha Lane Henderson McMahan. She was a member of the Beaverdam Baptist Church and Golden Circle Class. Surviving are her brother, George Thomas Henderson; son, Billy Lee Anders and wife Ann; daughter, Joy Anders Bradley and husband Larry; grandchildren, Jeffrey Hampton Anders, Patrick Maxwell Anders, Amy Anders Jennings and husband Nathan, Jeffrey Dean Bradley, and Lisa Bradley Lewis; great grandchildren, Bradley Andrew Lewis and Millie Caroline Jennings. Private services will be held at a later date with burial at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville is assisting the family.
