JOSEPH HENRY "JOSH" FISHER
ASHEVILLE - Joseph Henry "Josh", aka Turbo Fisher, age 36, of Asheville passed away peacefully Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Duke University Medical Pavilion, after a long courageous battle with congestive heart failure.
Josh was born December 17, 1978 in Buncombe County and was a life-long member of Calvary Baptist Church. He had been a ten year employee of Carrabba's Italian Grill in Asheville, enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and listening to music.
Surviving him are his faithful, loving mother, Suzanne Fisher; soulmate and fiancé, Shannon Bell and daughters Amaya and Lexi.
Josh will be greatly missed by those who loved him, however they are comforted in knowing that he is at peace with his Heavenly Father.
A celebration of his life will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Calvary Baptist Church, 531 Haywood Rd., Asheville, NC 28806, with Reverend Jeff Hayes officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park, Weaverville.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josh's name and sent to Calvary Baptist Church to assist with expenses.
