FAIRVIEW—Joshua Dean Swann, age 32, of Fairview died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at his home. Our beloved son was preceded in death by his father, Robin Swann and both paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Burnette Swann of Fairview; mother, Lisa Swann of Asheville; son, Zachery Dylan Swann of Fairview; maternal grandmother (Nanny), Joann Barr and her husband David of Asheville, maternal grandfather, Palmer Buttry of Fairview; cousin and best friend, Dustin Swann. Also surviving are his aunts, Pamela Swann of Asheville, who was his fishing buddy and Sandra Wright of Asheville. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with Revs. Tom Pethtel and Alfred Miller officiating. Burial will be in Clark's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday prior to the funeral service.
