JULIA MAE BRADBURN WOODFIN - Julia Mae Bradburn, age 84, of Woodfin, died Sunday, January 12, 2014. Miss. Bradburn was born August 7, 1929, in Union County, SC to the late Thomas M. Bradburn, Sr. and Lela Frisbee Bradburn. She was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Julius Bradburn; brother, Alvin Bradburn; and sisters, Iowa Candler and Frankie King. Surviving are her sisters, Grace Shelton and husband Ted, Kathleen Sluder and husband Joe; and brother, Thomas M. Bradburn, Jr. and wife Sue, all of Weaverville. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Anthony Fox officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Alexander. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
