Kali Elizabeth Mae Holderfield

WEAVERVILLE– Kali Elizabeth Mae Holderfield gained her angel wings in her sleep on June 4, 2019 at 12 years old. She was born in Asheville, NC on June 22, 2006 to Lisa Mohler and Calvin Holderfield.

Kali was the most loving, strong-willed, sweetest, determined little girl. She always lit up the room with her beautiful vibrant smile. Everyone that met Kali, immediately fell in love with her. She was absolutely perfect in every way. She was met in heaven by her brother, Brody Calvin Holderfield.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her Step-mother, Lorrie Holderfield; Step- father, Abel Mohler; Sister Emma Claire Holderfield; her Brothers, Jordan Olinger and wife Brianna, Deven Olinger, Abram Mohler; Step-sisters, Meadow and Allie; Mamaw, Nancy King; Grandpa, Rob Strait; Mimi, Lorena Holderfield; Pop-pop, John Holderfield; Grandparents, Lucy Fraser, Roger and Dianne Kenneke; Uncle Keith Strait, and wife Kelly Munday; Jodie “Auntie JoJo” Holderfield; Uncle Culley Holderfield; Aunt Cindy and Uncle Scott.

To ALL the Maxim nursing staff in the home, Carmen, Helene, Laine, Jen and Tina. Thank you for loving Kali.

We are so grateful to the many doctors, nurses, and medical teams that worked with Kali over the years. Thank you.

Kali, we love you. We miss you. We will see you again sweet girl. You are what we wished for, and with you our wish came true.

Her memorial service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverend Howard Hanger will officiate.

The family will greet friends following the service.
