WEAVERVILLE—Katherine Moore Ingle, age 83, of 229 Stoney Knob Rd., died Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Mrs. Ingle was born February 10, 1929, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was a retired nutritionist assistant at Weaverville Primary School and a member of Long's Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Molly Watkins Moore; husband, Oliver H. Ingle who died in 1998; and brother, C. "Bill" Moore.
Surviving are her sons, Jerry Ingle and wife Dixie and Ronald L. Ingle, all of Weaverville; brother, Rev. Jim Moore and wife Wilma of Weaverville; grandchildren, Gary Ingle and wife Debi and Tim Ingle and wife Cyndi; and great grandson, Oliver Logan Ingle.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Troy Edwards and Rev. Jim Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in Long's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
