KATHY STROBEL TOLER WEAVERVILLE - Kathy Strobel Toler of 40 Jupiter Hills Drive died Thursday, February 19, 2015. Kathy was born August 26, 1949 in Summerville, SC to the late Dan Strobel and Ethel Mae Storey Strobel; she was a resident of W.N.C. for the past 35 years. Retiring from AB Technical College after 30 plus years of teaching she remained active in North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda. Kathy loved family, teaching and traveling. Surviving are her son, Shawn Toler and wife Anne Marie and their children, Lulu, Brooklyn and Gracelyn Toler of Weaverville; sisters, Dee Strobel Montgomery and husband Bob of Brecksville, OH, and Jennifer Strobel Lance and husband Ken of Givhans, SC; step-mother, Maree Strobel of Summerville, SC. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a sharing of memories at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
