WEAVERVILLE - On October 22, 2017 heaven was blessed with a historian, an AmeriCorps volunteer and a soul that was loved by everyone he met. Kenneth Aaron was a North Buncombe High School graduate where he excelled in all he touched.
A graduate of UNC Wilmington with a double degree in Political Science and Anthropology, Aaron graduated with highest honors. Accepted into UNC Chapel Hill Law School, Aaron chose to volunteer as an AmeriCorps Vista in Montana with his cousin Sam where his illness began. Regardless of the disease that plagued him Aaron never stopped setting goals and reaching for the stars.
Aaron’s mother, Pamela, sister, Madeline, father, Edward, and his step father, John Payne with grandfather, Kenneth Clark and family, were there to comfort and help Aaron as he fought to move forward. If you knew Aaron, words could never describe his loving ways. If you never met Aaron, then you missed the best friend any of us could ever have, with a sense of humor that brought out the best in all of us. Aaron’s niece, Emma-Grace, lifted him and touched his heart referring to him as Uncle Fish. Aaron’s chocolate lab Raleigh was an endless inspiration and always by his side. Aaron was a friend to the outdoors, backpacking, camping and is truly a part of the nature he loved. We all love Kenneth Aaron and he will live in all of us for eternity.
On October 28, 2017 please join us as we celebrate Kenneth Aaron’s life at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 10 N Liberty Street, Asheville NC at 2:00pm.
