KENNETH ALLEN "BUSTER" MALONE
WEAVERVILLE - Kenneth Allen "Buster" Malone, age 75, of Weaverville, died Sunday, June 8, 2014.
Mr. Malone was born June 10, 1938, in Greeneville, TN and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1972. He was a shipping supervisor with Albany International, a forming fabric company and was a member of First Baptist Church, Weaverville. He was the son of the late Clifford and Rose Proffitt Malone and was also preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Williams.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Marilyn Malone Malone; daughter, Michelle Hall and husband Neil of Weaverville; sons, Terry Malone and fiancé Becky Howie of Weaverville, and Michael Malone and wife Teresa of Concord; brothers, Bennie Malone of Greeneville, TN, and Donnie Malone of Morristown, TN; former daughter-in-law, Kelly Malone of Marshall; grandchildren, Sidney Malone, Dalton Kenneth Allen Malone, Anna Malone, and Cambell Hall.
His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014, in First Baptist Church, Weaverville, with Revs. Jim McCoy and Lee Roy Denton officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, where his body will remain until placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
At other times, the family will be at the residence.
