Kevin Dewayne Edwards

Kevin Dewayne Edwards, 51, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center. 

Kevin was preceded in death by his uncle, Tim Dorsey. He is survived by his mother, Judy Goldsmith (Gary Johnson); his sister, Jennifer Connor (Keith); uncles, Ronnie, Mike, and Allen; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Brianna, and Aaron; and his special friend, Gary. 

Kevin was born on December 30, 1972 in Buncombe County, where he lived most of his life. He loved his stuffed animals and he loved his magazines. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 12 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville. Rev. Ronald Dodson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville.
