LEIF HANSEN
WEAVERVILLE - Leif Hansen, age 88 of Weaverville died Thursday, November 5, 2015.
Mr. Hansen was born September 14, 1927 in Denmark to the late Alfred and Olga Lassen Hansen. He served with the Danish Underground during World War II. Mr. Hansen became a U.S. citizen in 1953 and was a resident of Montgomery County, Maryland where he owned and operated Hansen & Tjom Construction, Inc. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict, and was very proud of his military time.
Surviving are his wife of 13 years Peggy Hansen; daughters, Susan Adami, Janet Hansen, Debbie Hansen; step-daughter, Kim Sabel; step-son, Matthew Sabel; grandchildren, Christian, Erik, Shawn, Nichol, Austin, Shelby, Jackson; and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held in Arlington National Cemetery.
