Lewis Henry Clay, Jr.

ASHEVILLE – Lewis Henry Clay, Jr., age 71, of Asheville died Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Lewis was born on August 26, 1952, in Buncombe County. He graduated from Mars Hill University with a degree in Business Administration and worked for many years in the Ford Automotive Business. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Hasty Clay, who died in 1956, and his father and stepmother, Lewis Henry Clay, Sr. and Cordie Cox Clay.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Patricia Whitson Clay and sister, Susan C. Clay.
