Linda Ray Buckner

WEAVERVILLE—Linda Ray Buckner, age 65, of Weaverville died Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Linda was a daughter of the late Ernest and Willoree Ray. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Gilbert Eugene Buckner. Surviving are her son, Lee Buckner and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Sylvia, Brandi and Michael Owenby; sisters, Vera Massey and Gail Grooms; and brother, Gene Ray. Her memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Dustin Grooms officiating. Burial will be in Clark's Chapel Cemetery at a later date. The family will greet friends following the service.
