Linda Kay Carson

Linda Kay Carson, age 67, of Arden, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

She was born October 3, 1954, in Buncombe County to the late Chester D. and Mildred Carson Carson.

Linda was a graduate of North Buncombe High School. She retired as an Assistant Clerk of Court in Buncombe County, after 32 years of service.

Linda enjoyed flower gardening, walking, and reading. She was kind to everyone she met and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her brother, Chester “Pete” Carson; and sister Sharon Carson.

Surviving are her partner, Bill Stafford; their daughter Megan Stafford; and Bandit, her dog.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverend Dr. Jim McCoy will officiate. 

A Private Burial will follow in Williams Branch Cemetery, Barnardsville.
