Logan Maney

LOGAN V. MANEY WEAVERVILLE - Logan V. Maney, age 13, of Weaverville went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, December 6, 2014. Logan was born February 11, 2001 in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, and Boy Scouts. Logan loved both his churches. He had a gift of bringing people together and his courageous fight with cancer spoke to everyone. He was very thankful for all his friends who supported him and his family. Logan was in the eighth grade class at North Buncombe Middle School. Surviving are his father, Ryan Roberson; mother, Jennifer Maney; brother, Brody Roberson; maternal grandparents, Danny and Diana Maney; paternal grandparents, Grady and Debbie Roberson; maternal great grandmother, Elizabeth Edwards; grandmother, Brenda Wheeler; cousin, Mikaela Whitfield; aunts, Cristee Gully, Tiffany Drake, and Desiree Roberson; and all extended family and friends. A celebration of Logan's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2014, at North Buncombe Middle School Gymnasium, Weaverville, with Rev. Brian Hanrahan and Rev. Jay Rabuck officiating. A private burial will be at a later date in Maney Branch Cemetery, Weaverville. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Love for Logan Maney at the PNC Bank of Weaverville, 81 Weaver Blvd., Weaverville, NC 28787.
