Lois Boone McDaris

LOIS BOONE McDARIS WEAVERVILLE – Lois Boone McDaris, age 88 of McDaris Cove Road died Friday, February 17, 2017. Mrs. McDaris was born May 12, 1928 in Buncombe County where she lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Emory M. and Mary Jane Allen Boone and wife of the late Oscar McDaris who died in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Bryant. Surviving are her daughters, Betty Stewart and husband Mike, Paula Banks and husband Tom and Deana Buckner and husband Clifford; sons, Bobby McDaris and Dale McDaris; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Her memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Rev. Delain Whittemore officiating.
