Lucille Buckner Keys

ASHEVILLE—Lucille Buckner Keys, age 93, of Asheville, died Friday, June 21, 2013. Mrs. Keys was born April 27, 1920, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a daughter of the late William Robert and Atlas Brigman Buckner. Surviving are her husband of 73 years, William C. Keys, Sr.; daughter, Linda Keys Hanks and husband Father Alex Hanks; son, William C. Keys, Jr., and wife Marsha P. Keys; sister, Lois Buckner Carden; grandchildren, Micah, Caleb, Erin, and Lauren. Her Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Church of the Redeemer, 1201 Riverside Dr., Asheville. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
