WOODFIN—Mabel Suddreth Reynolds, age 85, of Woodfin, died Thursday, January 10, 2013.
Mrs. Reynolds was born May 25, 1927, in Caldwell County. She loved to flower garden and quilt. She was happily married for 68 years and family was very important. She was a daughter of the late Burley Azor and Mamie Gertrude Setzer Suddreth, and the wife of Travis Land Reynolds who died in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her son, Travis Carroll Reynolds; sisters, Onnie O'Kelley, Alma Lindsey, Annie O'Kelley, and Helen Black.
Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Ann Dillingham of Asheville and Sharon Tanya Brown and husband Paul of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Judy Edmonds Reynolds of Marshall; sister, Glenna McCoy of Leicester; brothers, Burley Azor "BA" Suddreth, Jr., and Wayne Suddreth, both of Candler; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. C.W. Anthony officiating. Private burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
