Madge Thompson Denny

WEAVERVILLE—Madge Thompson Denny age 80, of 10 Robinwood Rd. died Saturday, May 22, 2010. Madge was born July 28, 1929, in Washington County, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late John and Judith Aldridge Thompson and the wife of Robert L. Denny, Sr. who died in 2007 and also preceded in death by her brother Ivan Thompson. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Gaddy; son, Robert L. Denny, Jr. both of Weaverville; sisters, Hazel Seaton, Angelina Long; brothers Hawk Thompson and Wesley Thompson all of TN. She has three grandsons, John, Ray and Joseph Gaddy, and one great-granddaughter. Mrs. Denny's funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday May 26th in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, with Rev. Keith Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
