MARCELLA TEAGUE MORGAN BARNARDSVILLE - Marcella Teague Morgan, age 67, of 210 Buckner Branch Road went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Marcella was born August 13, 1946 and was a 1964 graduate of North Buncombe High School and was there after a graduate of Mars Hill College. She taught school for 32 years and was at Barnardsville, North Buncombe Elementary, and North Windy Ridge School. After her retirement she was very involved in the Big Ivy Community Center. She loved her church, grandchildren, and doing crafts. Marcella was the daughter of the late Redmond "Bud" Teague and Evalee Sprinkle Teague. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Pat Elliott. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Roger F. Morgan; daughter, Marcia Stephenson and husband Rick of Cary; sons Britt Morgan and wife Jessica and Seth Morgan all of Barnardsville; sisters, Peggy Bennett of Leicester, Gail Champion and husband Ron of Washington; brother, Bill Teague and wife Carolyn of Leicester; six grandchildren, Jamie Rice, Morgan, Alex, and Mary Grace Stephenson, and Elijah and Adeline Morgan. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Ivy Hill Baptist Church of which she was a member. Reverends Worth Emory and Sarah Fouts will officiate. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
