Marcia L. Henline

ASHEVILLE—Marcia Henline, age 69, of Asheville died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. Marcia was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late Rowland and Ruby Nordstrom. Marcia will lovingly be remembered as a gentle, devoted mother with sparkling laughter. Despite Marcia's physical challenges, she embraced life, was tenacious, and saw the positive in every situation. She was a very loyal friend to many. She will be missed. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Eileen Garey; sister, Stella Brown and her husband Norman; brother, Kenny Nordstrom; and her cat, Buddie. Her graveside service is being scheduled for Friday, Nov. 20, at 10:00 AM at West Memorial Park in Weaverville, with Rev. Bryan Aalborg, Pastor of Foster Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating.
