CLYDE—Margaret Ann Anderson, 72, of Haywood County, went peacefully home to the Lord on May 21st, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. James Waldrop and Zettie Waldrop. She was the sister of the late Thomas Waldrop and Sarah Laws. She is survived by her sister, Alma Jean Moore of Woodfin, and brothers, Woodard Waldrop of Clyde and Lawrence Waldrop of Woodfin. She was the loving wife of the late Preston Anderson and mother of the late David Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Edwards of Monroe and Deborah Van Dyke of Clyde; sons, James Anderson of Clyde and Michael Anderson of Polkton. Margaret has nine grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She worked as a Cert. Nursing Asst. dedicating 25+ years to Brentwood Nursing Home.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Carl Laws officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
