MARGARET SHARP BRANK WEAVERVILLE - Margaret Sharp Brank, age 86, of Weaverville died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Mission Hospital. Mrs. Brank was born in Buncombe County to the late Edgar and Flossie White Sharp and was also preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Sharp, Jr. Surviving are her husband of 67 years Harold Brank; daughter, Mary Lackey; son, Vance Brank and wife Terie; brother, Jack Sharp; special brother in law, David Brank; grandchildren, Vanessa Brank, Brittany Morawietz, Courtney Bingham; great grandchildren, Terra and Justin Hayes, Gracie, Wiley and Gage Bingham and Brooklyn Morawietz. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2015, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Jerry Jamerson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Union Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
